Hello,
I'm new to all things MIDI and have recently got a USB to MIDI interface. After a while I was able to get the Mac to recognise the MIDI controller. Using the Audio MIDI Setup app after running the test setup, it beeps every second when connection so I guess that means it's being detected. I also used MIDI Monitor to check if the Mac is receiving the sounds, and it is as the log changes and outputs the keys data when I press them on the Keyboard.

The only problem now is that GarageBand won't play any sounds. Whenever I press a key down, theres a small blue light in the bottom corner of the GarageBand 'LCD' panel. In the audio preferences of GageBand it does say theres 1 midi device detected. Despite all this it will not play any sounds... i tried recording and playing but I hear nothing.

Can anyone help me to get this going? I saw a few other threads on places but none led to a solution.

Thanks in advance,
Kris
