Hello

Something silly I know but something I am missing at the moment.

After the latest Firefox update all the site icons (Favicons) have disappeared from my bookmarks list.

If I use the Bookmark list from the top menu bar there are no site icons, but if I use the bookmarks option within the Bookmarks bar (far right) then the favicons are there. Is it a Firefox problem, or an added option to turn them off and I am missing it ?

Sounds silly but I tend to pick the site I want by seeing the site icon when choosing the site I want.

Hello

Sorry nobody but nobody has any issues with favicons in the latest Firefox ???

go to about:config

search for...
image.mem.decodeondraw

double click it to toggle it to false.

restart firefox

Hello

Sorry where is this about:config ???
It's built into Firefox. Instead of typing a normal URL into the Awesomebar, type about:config instead. You'll see a warning screen - dismiss this, and you'll be taken to a huge list of internal Firefox settings you can configure.

Hello

Thank you very much indeed for that pointer, very useful to know for
the future.

Favicons now all OK :)
