Would I be correct in guessing that the push email from iCloud on iPhone 4S would not use up as much battery life as push email from Gmail would?

Is it still more advisable to keep email fetching at something like every 30 mins or so instead?

I would ideally like to have push email from iCloud on but only if it doesn't drain the battery excessively.

I don't think there's much of a difference between services, but either way I'd say leave it on.

I used it with Gmail before and iCloud now and I don't notice an amazing battery difference when I've tried turning push off for the day.
