What TV shows are people watching (need some ideas)

Basically I'm out of TV entertainment. I usually watch stuff that appears on the pay-channels and a little network stuff.

Can anyone recommend anything new?

For an idea, this is what I've recently watched:

Rubicon (not renewed)
Boardwalk Empire (waiting for S03)
House (on break)
Project Runway/Accessory (waiting for S09 / S02)
Game of Thrones (waiting for S02)
Hung (not renewed)
 
New Zealand is way behind the rest of the world in terms of television programming, unless they're shows such as American Idol. :rolleyes:

Anyway, I like to watch the following:
  • Southland
  • Rookie Blue
  • The Apprentice
  • The Amazing Race
  • Survivor
  • COPS (I love me some good ol' cop action shows :D)
  • And a few local shows
 
I'm a fan of the FX shows. Such as:

  • Archer ( Just starting it's new season this month )
  • Justified ( Just starting it's new season this month )
  • Sons of Anarchy ( Just wrapped up )

Other network's shows I like are:

  • Fringe ( Coming back from mid season break )
  • Supernatural ( Also coming back from mid season break )
  • Being Human ( The US version which pleasantly surprised me )
  • House of Lies ( Big Don Cheadle fan, was surprised at how raunchy it is )

Breaking Bad


I'll also recommend an 'oldie' from the 90s- Wiseguy. Great TV.
 
NCIS, the best show on tv.
I love The Big Bang Theory.

I have my DVR set to record Becker, one my favorite sitcoms.

I like things like Build It Bigger and stuff like that. Plus anything about UFOs and hauntings.
 
The Walking Dead

That's the only show I really watch, even though it's on break right now.

I started watching The Office, a couple weeks ago. Found it on Netflix, pretty funny. Long way to go to get to the current season

Just 30 Rock right now :D

Dexter just finished, and a lot of my usual shows are on their half-season break. Before that happened I was watching House, Parks and Recreation (just came back :D), the Office and The Walking Dead.

Once I burn through all of that, I'm thinking that maybe I'll start Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men and Breaking Bad. I've always wanted to watch Prison Break, but I'm not sure I'm too bothered anymore.
