I don't know where else to put this so forgive me if it's posted in the wrong forum.
I just had Verizon FiOS installed today and everything is working fine EXCEPT for Adium. This is the error message I get when trying to connect:
Error: Error requesting https://api.screenname.aol.com/auth/clientLogin: Unable to connect to api.screenname.aol.com: SSL Connection Failed
I'm using Verizon's Actiontec router, with my Airport Base Station connected in Bridge Mode. If i connect through iChat it works. But Adium is throwing and keeps timing out. No settings on the router (such as Port Forwarding) have been changed. iChat works, Adium does not. Adium is able to connect to all the other chat protocols just fine (Yahoo, MSN, IRC, Gchat). It's only affecting Adium and AOL.
Does anyone have any experience with this issue and/or know how to resolve it? Calls into Tech support have been fruitless.
Also, on a side note, I can't seem to access forums.verizon.com either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
