Hi. I want to insert track markers/breaks/tags (not sure of the correct term) in an mp3 so that the listener can skip through individual tracks, without creating separate files. There seem to be Windows based programs that do this - any ideas on how to achieve this on a Mac?

What are the names of those Windows based applications?
Have you tried "mac alternative to ...." as search terms in a www search engine of your choice yet?

No - just tried it and it just creates a long mp3 with no track markers. Any other ideas?
