Applying skins

Do people apply skins on top of clear screenshields or not? I ordered an aluminum set for front and back and am wondering if I should leave my screenshield that i have now. what are the pros and cons of doing so if any? THANKS. The only thing im concerned about is heat dissipation as iphones are notorious for getting hot.

k thanks ill prolly do the same. When you peel off the skin do you find that the bottom shield comes off with it? if you've ever taken off your top piece.
