I've put together a site in wordpress for I client in the legal profession. He's asking me if an FAQ section is a good idea from a SEO point of view? He's concerned of the cost of writing all the extra copy. As this section would almost double the amount of text in the site I was thinking it was a good idea SEO-wise. What do people think?

Having more well written content is always good for SEO. Other than SEO reasons a FAQ section is good to have anyway, they help answer visitors questions that they may want to know the answer to without them putting in the extra effort of emailing the question when instead they may go to another site that already answers that question.
