Hi

I got a 750GB hard drive in my macbook pro but its full. Does anybody know when to expect a 1.5TB or 2TB thats 9.5mm in height?

1TB drives in that format came out not terribly long ago was it not? Manufacturers (the few of them that remain) won't launch anything any sooner than a year later at least, so summer/autumn-ish we may start hearing something.

Typically products in the storage industry are announced by their makers a very long time before sales actually start happening (very likely due to the rigorous quality testing/verfication neccessary), and since there haven't even been any announcements yet there's no reason to believe there is anything imminent on the horizon. :)

I suggest purchasing an external, bus-powered drive to tide you over in the meanwhile.
