Hey Guys,

So... I was talking to a collegue, and I got (what I think is) a great idea.

I have a small bedroom i'd like to media enable. ;-) I don't believe in using cable tv or anything like that, so i'm looking to build a setup similar to this:

- Apple Cinema Display 27" - Wall Mounted
- Apple TV II as source of content
- B&O Beolab 4 (or similar, I chose 4 because of size and price) as audio

Now, obviously I would want to keep this implementation simple. There is a few things im not totally sure on how to do... specifically how to hook up the speakers - and how to minimize the amount of cabling required...

Any ideas?

Cheers

M

an 27" cinema display has a mini displayport or thunderbolt connector. no HDMI or dvi,... so it's not possible to just connect the apple tv to the cinema display.

I think you might be better off with an iMac 27". that should be capable of doing everything a apple tv does. with an app like xbmc or plex and itunes.
then you can connect audio with jack or optical.
you could also connect other peripherals like usb tv receiver, when you decide it later.
