New iPad2 problems

Im having an issue of any app I download on my iPad goes to my iPhone but not vice versa. Can I turn this off or set it up both ways (I've tried iPad only and iPad/iPhone apps)?

Also when I use iMessage on my iPad I have the dell logo as my picture :/ anyway to change this? I don't even own a dell no more.

settings - store - select what you want to automatically download (or not).

For your picture, check in your contacts for a picture assigned to yourself and change it.
