Who can tell me wat the hell wrong with my MBP?

I just don't get it, why the hell every time I use my laptop (10.7 lion) to do some moderate things ( like downloading movies and surfing web at the same time) the temp will be increased to neat 85'C, and there are always 2 threads called"distnoted" which occupying 80% of my cpu. and the mouse cursor becomes laggy...The indoor temp is lower than 15"c, what the ......

Now I cannot download anything at the night coz the fan noise are really huge (5000+rpm).

So what really is your concern?? Does your computer give a warning that the CPU is to hot and shutdown? Is this a new or "fresh" copy of Lion or have you had it running for a long time now??

thanks for replying, its not a fresh copy i had it for 3 months. but this issue is new. I almost cannot use computer when is **** happens coz it slows down the whole system's speed and even rebooting doesn't help
 
Post a screen of all processes in the activity monitor.
Distnoted has clearly gone mad, the question is what triggered it.
 
1) Check the logs (via the "Console" application under /Applications/Utilities) to see if anything is mentioned there relating to distnoted.... and post a screenshot of your activity monitor.

2) What software have you installed recently? any notification app?

distnoted provides distributed notification services.


3) Check if this problem exists when you log in as a different user.
 
I would do what others above me said, but you may want to make a fresh backup of your music, documents etc...because this may lead you to do a "fresh install" of Lion. Obviously this is the last option but one that may be needed to use.

Hi I have checked the logs in "console" there is nothing related with distnoted and I logged in different user account the problem disappeared.

Well, some program you are running by default on your main account is going crazy.

GO to system preferences, users, and disable all login items, then log out and in again.
