I bought a BenQ G2440 to use as external display with a Mini Display port TO Hdmi adapter but the text looked very fuzzy compared to the macbooks display and overall quality was lower. Sent it back and ordered the Dell U2412m because its an IPS panel so I expected better things. Text is less fuzzy and colors look better but still fuzzier than main display on macbook pro. The dell u2412m is connected with a mini display port TO display port cable.
I am waiting for a mini DP to DVI cable to see if its any better but I am really dissapointed at this point.
Was I wrong to expect the text and the picture to look exactly the same as it does on my macbook pro?

try changing the refresh rate in the display settings, i have a mini running as a HTPC, and text starts to looks fuzzy if i set it down to 24. But 50 & 60 look pretty good.
