I was shaking my head at the product until I saw the video...then I started boppin it.

What a complete waste of money. I want 2.

:D

The novelty is obvious but it does have some functionality. I'm buying mine next week when i get paid. It's not exactly expensive for a cable either that will most likely be good quality.

I ordered one last night ... only one problem, est delivery is March 1st.

Where did you order from? Direct from the Dexim site? If anyone else get theirs soon could you please make a video or pictures with measurements of the cable length? Thanks.

yes, how incredibly expensive. who would do such a thing?

it is just another thing to drain my battery. so alas i won't be buying one. very cool though. would be cooler if it lit up sequentially so when you are "backing up" it flows towards the computer and when syncing stff from the computer it flows towards the phone

Its a charging cable, how would it ever drain your battery??

It doesn't.

What is Electroluminescence (EL)?

Electroluminescent panels are paper thin laminated panels that illuminate as an electrical current is passed through the panel. This Electroluminescence is created when phosphor crystals with coloured overlays are sandwiched between conductors, and as an electrical current is applied, the phosphor crystals rapidly charge and emit light which illuminates the printed overlay.

EL lamps are produced in many forms such as Electroluminescent panels, EL Tape or EL Wire. The low power consumption makes Electroluminescent technology one of the most energy efficient light sources available.
