Target Mode and USB Headset

I am using this Belkin AV360 to play my PS3 on my iMac 27" and it works just fine.

I would like to hear the sound over my USB headset though but the sound only comes out of my internal speakers...

Does anyone have experience using USB headsets in Target Mode?
Is it possible?

Are there some settings that I am missing?

Any help is appreciated!
