I'm suprised there isn't one out yet that tricks the 2gb data plan for unlimited users. As we know att is trying to force unlimited data user out of there plan and over to a capped plan, maybe i'm wrong but is there a tweak out that when you get close to the 2gb cap it shows that you actually haven't used that much data yet? Is it even possible? :confused:
 
If record keeping is done at AT&T side, how do you want a tweak on your phone to show that you're not up on 2gb yet?

no idea, it was just a thought. I don't come close to the 2gb since i'm on wifi most of the time but with it being a big deal on this forum as well as a lot of mac/iphone sites i was just wondering.

A long time ago (in the days of analogue cell phones), some prepaid devices held the credit on the actual device and there were ways to reset the amount of credit you had on the phone.

With digital cell phones, everything's been moved to billing systems that the carrier maintains. Everything that you can be charged for is monitored at their end.

While we are at it how about a tweak to withdraw money from ATM's without being charged. Maybe connect via bluetooth Withdraw $500 and walk away! night on the town thanks to the bank! gotta think big! ;)

No "hack" required. Just get a couple of your buddies together and purchase some ski masks and hunting rifles and head to your nearest branch.
