So I just got the Nintendo Emulator (purchased it from BigBossfrom $6) from Cydia and some of the ROM packs, and when I backed out of Cydia I noticed that iTunes icon was now just pure white. I went back in to Cydia to see which ROMs I added to single them out as te possible culprit and when I backed out iTunes icon was normal again but now compass icon is pure white, and that has stayed that way with a restoring, reboot, etc.

I'm gonna delete all the NES ROM packs because that is the only thing that has changed between the phone being fine and now doing this, but I'm just curious if anyone else has come across this at all and what it could be? Is it just incompatibility with iOS5 or could it be something else?

*EDIT* It says "now optimized for IPhone 4" in the emulator description page, but makes no mention of 4S or iOS5, so does that mean its not compatible or just that maybe the description isn't updated? It's weird that if it IS incompatible that the only thing it does is turn the compass icon white lol. The emulator itself works fine.

Has nothing to do with the emulator. It's a side-effect of Absinthe. Try respringing or re-installing MobileSubstrate in Cydia.

Thanks guys, a respring helped, even though I did one befre posting and it didn't lol. But yeah, problem solved, thanks :)

This is one of the buggier jailbreaks IMO. Every time I delete an app all my hidden icons reappear...white icons fairly often...general unresponsiveness.

I'd rather it be out with minor bugs than not out at all. A respiring every now and then never hurt anybody.

Go to more in sbsettings, than Sys options: Fix User Dir Permissions

MobileSubstrate you can reinstall in cydia
