Is there a setting to increase the volume output on podcasts, before they are loaded, to give more available listening volume on iphone.
 
Each podcast you are subscribed to can have different volume levels. There currently isn't a standard. However, you can change your EQ in the Music.app settings to suit the audio to your liking.
