Hi, I've just received a powerbook g4 from ebay and am happy with it apart from the power doesn't seem to be charging correctly. before contacting the seller i would like to know whether the problem sounds like a charger issue or something more serious.

The batter seems to be holding its charge but on charging the light will go out and the operating system cant find the ac power. this seems to happen after about 1 hour of charging. im leaning towards it been the charger as unpluging the power from the mac has no effect however unpluging it from the mains seems to reset it.

any advice to what this could be would be greatly appreciated.

...just checked the batter has onl done 75 cycles and lasts aprx 2hours

regards,

andy
