Thunderbolt Problem When Waking From Sleep

Hello,

I have a 2011 13" Air and have it hooked up to a TBD. When all is hooked up and I wake the computer up from sleeping the screen looks like this for a few seconds. Any ideas? I don't know much at all about graphics cards and am wondering if I have a bad one. The computer is only about 3 weeks old.

Mine doesn't seem to do that right now, but how many secs does your display do that? Is it everytime? You could always hit the apple store and try one of their displays to see if the issue is the Air or the monitor.
 
I'd say 2-3 seconds. I've had the display for about a week and it's been doing it the past few days :/
