The Asus Zenbook UX31 has a 1600X900 13.3" screen, which is more PPI than the MBA.

The Asus uses the same CPUs as the MBA. It also uses the same integrated graphics processor (IGP) as the MBA. It uses the same RAM as the MBA, though Asus doesn't state how much.

Thanks. Seems to be an "incredible" machine. A bit cheaper than the MBA I guess, and it doesn't come with Lista.

ive been an asus fan for over 10 years buying their motherboards. however ive bought a few asus laptops and the quality isnt there. asus laptops are biggest bang for the buck laptops. you get great specs cheap however the quality does suffer.

That screen has 102.46 PPI, the 11" MBA has 133.51 PPI, the 13" MBA has 130.62 PPI.
That means, the display you linked to has less pixel density than any MBA and MBP.

I would have to say the sony Vaio Z wins this competition. It has a 13" with 1920x1080. Thats 168 ppi. Its not as "tapered" as other ultra's, but its in the same depth and weight group as others. It is also by far the most expensive. But, it has 168 ppi.
