Is it possible to duplicate an app?

yes, the easiest way would be to download the official pp from the App Store and then another copy of it from Installous. You could also use SSH and just duplicate the file and change permissions.
 
What do you mean, "copy it from installous"....just download it from Installous also? That doesn't work.

What permissions do I change if duplicating? I can get the icon to show on the springboard but it just crashes on launch.

use the app for one account and go to the page in safari on another then save that page to your home screen.

I found this to be the best solution for using two ebay accounts at once
 
I might have to resort to that although the web app is crap.
 
Manged to do it :D

1> Locate to Applications folder on your device

2> Copy the folder(program) need to be duplicated (tested with folder MobileNotes.app) to your desktop.

3> Open folder "MobileNotes.app" on your desk, locate to file "Info.plist", open it with Notepad

4> Under "<key>CFBundleIdentifier</key>" is "<string>com.apple.mobilenotes</string>"

5> Change the string to "<string>com.apple.mobilenotes01</string>
" . Save it.

6> Rename folder "MobileNotes.app" to "MobileNotes01.app"

7> Move it back to Applications on your iphonne, change permission 775 for the folder and subfolders/files

8> Respring your phone, will see an icon call "MobileNotes01" on your screen. That's it.
