What does the "S" mean on iPhone 4S

I always thought of it like the "S" in the Porsche Carrera S. The "S" denotes extra performance over the regular Carrera.

My guess was S for Second, unless Siri got it right.

Hey, Just heard of a Tragic balloon accident in New Zealand. I thought the guy said Wellington, but not positive. What a terrible story! They also said in was the deadliest air tragedy in NZ history.

It just goes back to being able to crawl before you can run. Keeping the same, preserving the life of the current iPhone.

Making them identical was done on purpose.
