Hi,
I have been trying to transfer events from my iPhone to my Macbook ever since I bought my iPhone, but have not had any success. Even when I go into iTunes to my phone and check 'sync iCal' events won't go FROM the phone TO the Macbook. Events from iCal go onto my phone, however. Is there an easy (and free) way to do this? Or will I have to upgrade my operating system on my Macbook so I can use iCloud?

If you are running the current OS on both devices and are setup with iCloud than any edits you make to your calendar should push to any connected device. So if you make appt on your iPhone it should push it to your Mac and vice versa provided everything is up to date.

I have iOS 5 on my phone, but just the basic operating system on my computer - OS X I believe. Will I have to upgrade to Lion for everything to be pushed from my phone to my computer, or is there a way to do it without upgrading?
