Hi,
I have an iPhone 3g and I need the battery changing as the original is not keeping charge long and is causing some issues.
I had a look on the apple support section and they said that it would cost £55 + post and packaging. This is rather steep. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any other repair companies in the uk that would be cheaper? I'm a bit worried about being ripped off or somebody installing it incorrectly resulting in further problems which is why I'm looking for a trusted company that someone has used before.

Thanks in advance

I did a DIY job on a 3G battery that I brought from ifixit.com.

Worked well :)
