Ipad2 using as an input device?

Dear All!

Does anyone know if you can use your Ipad as an input device for Garageband on a Mac Pro? I really like the way to play on an Ipad but to record it on a more powerfull Mac Pro....is that possible?

Do a search in the App Store as there is a LOT of software that might be good. Nothing will replace garage band on a MBPro
 
If you used an input to GarageBand that used the dock connector you could use the headphone jack to take a line out into the Mac Pro.
 
mmm...well thanks....but I just want to use it as a kind of Midi keyboard....So for example the way you can play guitar on it, it would be nice if you can record the 'data' on a Mac within Garageband...

Well I'll search on!
