Whenever i receive a text message... my Chime Text sounds goes off 2-3 times? anyone know anything about this?

iPhone 4S SMS Tone Problem

Same thing was happening to a buddy at work yesterday, it's not just you, but if you figure out what's going on, he'd love to know.
Same thing happens on my 4S as well. Plays half the tone then plays the full tone right after. It's happening on my girlfriends iPhone 4 as well.
Mine does this too. I thought it might have been because I have IntelliscreenX, but I'm not sure...
Jfyi this has been posted many times. It isn't a 4s problem or a jailbreak issue it's ios5. It happened to me before jailbreak and it also happens on gfs nonjailbroken iphone4.
Check this; it will definitely solve the problem:
1)Turn iMessage off in settings
2)Power off your phone and then turn it on.
3)Send a txt to yourself, and press the home button immediately.
4)Go into settings, turn on iMessage.
5)Send a txt to yourself again, should be fixed.
