Move files from Time Capsule to TC AFP Share

I mounted my Time Capsule (shows under Devices in Finder) and copied a lot of data on it which I wanted to access over my network.

I now realised that I should have copied the data to the shared folder of my TC that appears under Lion under Shares.

Is there a way to copy the files from the Device Level to the Shared folder?

I tried just copying from the mounted TC to the shared folder but that leads to the data being copied over my network at network speeds rather than copying within the device.

any ideas? thanks
