Hello
My iphone falled on the water and it wasn't turning on.
I dryed it the best i could, bought a batter on ebay and replaced.
It started ok, but the batter didn't charged.
I'm not sure if it's battery fault or iphone.
What should i test and how to repair (if repairable...)
I was thinking in buy an external battery but not sure if it might work this way as probably this external batterys only charge the internal battery and don't give power to the iphone standalone.

Thanks for any advice.

I would be suspicious of a battery purchased on ebay. You have no idea of its age or condition. Better to pay the cost, which isn't all that much, and get a brand new battery.

If you let the iPhone dry out, REALLY dry out, it's possible it would continue to work. I think your best bet would be to have an Apple tech person check it out, if that's possible where you live.
