photo albums on iphone4S to Mac

Were the 10 albums "made"(add album+) on your iphone?
Was the particular album you wanted, at least made on iphone?
Are all the pictures still on your iphone's "camera roll"?
IF YES; I personally like to make my Albums on Mac.
Example: When your option is to "select all or individual photo's"..Import what photo's you want and go into iphoto..then,(top menu>file>New Album), And drag selected photo's into that album. It makes it easier to put album back on iphone and to take off iphone or keep on your Mac. (IMO)
I can't speak on any apps or other method's on taking albums off iphone other than this. Hope you get it worked out.
