"Unable to check for update" in just 1 device

Hey guys. I'm getting this message while trying to update OTA in my iPhone 4.
In my fiance's 4S and in my iPad 2 update works fine, under the same wifi network.

I've already tried:
- resetting with power and home button
- resetting network configs
- setting DNS to google (8.8.8.8) and OpenDNS in wifi settings AND in router

any ideas what's going on?
