efi update for 2011 imac 1.9?

okay so i updated the efi to 1.8 a few weeks ago and now i see in software update that there is a new efi update.

does this improve anything? did u guys install it? i dont want to install it for no reason..

They don't roll out updates just for fun.

i dont know if i should apply the update or not.. ?

i also didn't apply the thunderbolt firmware update, since i dont use thunderbolt nor do i plan to use any of the thunderbolt ports, its okay that i not update that right?
