I got a new mac, but i wanna keep my pictures, i have WAYY to many to single handedly drag and drop, and they're way to scattered. You could use the Finder search feature (CMD+F) and the ability to add search criterions to find your photos, if you know, what they have in common in their file name.
Then you can move them from there into a folder of your choice, unless you want to use the folders they are originally in.
Then you have to go to those folders and move them.

Or you could use iPhoto, which puts imported photos into one folder with sub-folders.

And why is the data that scattered, that doing it by hand is not an option?
