Hey guys. I have the original Time Capsule 1 TB. I have the new ipad coming on Friday along with the new apple TV. I am running comcast 30MB internet as well. My question is will I see any speed increase going with the new AE over the original. The one I have now is not dual band. I am also going to purchase a new MB pro once they come out. I know apple is talking about 802.11ac in the future. Just wondering if the current TC will affect 1080p video to the appleTV.

No. Even with encryption overhead, you still would have at least 75mbps worth of bandwidth even on 2.4ghz N with a single Antennae. However, you may get a greater range and more reliability with the new Aiprort Extreme Base since the newest model pumps out some serious wireless power.
