Please tell me why I can't download from App store

I'm seriously ticked. I bought Call of Duty 4 on the app store. It's a 7 Gig game.

On my connection it takes almost 5 hours to download something this big. I've tried twice and both times it gets down to less than 15 minutes until finished and then I get an error and have to start all over again.

What the heck!?

Someone please tell me I'm doing something wrong here. This is really frustrating.

I've downloaded others before with no problems but nothing this big.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I'm using Lion on a 2.7 Intel Core i7 with 8 Gigs of Ram. My machine shouldn't be a problem nor my OS.

Your problem isn't likely your computer or what you're doing, but the fact is that you probably have a slow Internet connection. Servers and computers in general do not like to have really long download sessions.

Being that a 7GB download is taking 5 hours, is the tip off. If you can either increase your speed with your ISP or take your computer to somewhere where you can get a fast connection to get the download, then it should work.
