Hi!

I'm trying to justify purchasing an iPad 3 so I wanted to know how much faster is the iPad 3 over the iPad 2 when running things such as Safari. I know the speed difference was huge going from the iPad 1 to the iPad 2 so I wanted to know if it is a huge difference from the iPad 2 to the 3. Thanks!

You probably won't notice any speed improvements during normal usage as this is the very same processor. Thing you can profit of the new iPad is a fact you have more memory which allows you to browse more websites or keep more apps in the background. Speed is very comparible with iPad 2.

CPU comparisons are equivalent between the two. GPU shows that the iPad 3 is still faster than the iPad 2.

^^ you have to provide link - you cannot just state that without proof! otherwise it's all hearsay

Read any of the reviews that are out, they all state it doesn't feel much faster, if at all, than the iPad 2. Until devs push it graphically we won't see the true difference.

I think there was a graphic showing the 3's CPU performance was slightly below the iPad 2's.
