Resolved How to change the Finder view?

Hi all. I have a little quirk that is driving me nuts and I can't find a way to change this. On my MacBook, the separator in Finder looks like this:

On my Mac mini, it looks like that:

How can I make the separator in the mini's Finder look like the one on the MBP?

Is it possible that you're running Snow Leopard on your MBP and Lion on your mini?

Nope, Lion on both with a clean install.

The top photo shouldn't look like that, as Lion did away with that.

On the MacBook, in System Preferences > General, do you have "Always show scroll bars" checked?

I'm not on Lion at the moment. Does that affect that tab in column view, as well?
