I was able to hide the Newsstand using the above directions. Has this great glitch been stopped by Apple? I am trying to do it but it wont work
does anyone know another trick to remove the news stand?
gosh I am pissed off lol. I have my art work on the beautiful new screen and the only way to have a clean home screen is to move that one solitary app to it's own entire screen. And that only works till the next time I reboot at which time the Newsstand app goes right back to the home screen. I gues I could leave the empty Newsstand app on my dock but then I would still have to look at an empty icon. And I'm not going to purchase anything from newsstand just so it doesn't look empty.
Apple, please deal with this issue and give your users back control.
