iMessages from some phones aren't coming to iPad

They show up on my phone fine.

And some from phones are getting through, but not all.

Any idea what the issue could be?

It very well could be the ones not getting through are being sent to your phone number, not your Apple ID email address.

That's usually the problem. If you have those sending you iMessages send to the email address, they'll show up on the iPad.

Yes I had to do this for my wife. Just changed her caller id in the message settings to send her apple id instead of her Verizon telephone number.

Ah, so it does make a difference if they're sending to my number rather than email.
I had thought if they were linked to the same account it wouldn't make any difference.
