Hello all,

Is there any way to FORCE the video output to show a 1920 x 1200 resolution option? I know my mac can output it but for some reason when I connect it to some video equipment (that I know for a fact can handle that res and higher) the max output option I have is 1920 x 1080. This is via a DVI connection.

Any help is appreciated.

Well obviously your monitor supports only 1920x1080 and not 1920x1200 that's why you can't select it.

Without getting far more involved than necessary, I can say without a doubt the device I am plugging into can support higher than 1920 x 1200. I am running this mac into a Barco Encore VP - pro level video processing equipment. Problem is I'm not a mac user so I'm looking for help...obviously.

Thanks...
