Yet they still sell out and have plenty of demand. So apparently people are ok with paying the amount they are charging for the amount of memory you get.

O God.. I'm an apple fanboy myself .. Easy now jesus tebow christ

You guys want to tell him that the storage numbers aren't arbitrary or should I?

Last I knew, Apple does these numbers based on the largest flash chips available for a decent price. I believe the 64gb models still use two 32s, and I'm not sure whether they're single or double below that. But you're not going to see flash storage in strange numbers like 20gb. It will be in factorials of 2.

More like

32GB 499$
64GB 599$
128GB 699$

:D

Considering the stories I saw about the lower profit margins due to the better display, I can't blame Apple for not bumping it yet. Can't say I'm sure why the iPhone price points have been stuck since the 3GS with the exception of a more expensive 64GB 4S. These apps and media are just getting too big for the sizes available. iCloud schmicloud when you only get 2gb of cell data per month.

How about 16/64/128?

One for functionality without storing media and such, then two meatier storage upgrades. Top end still a better value on storage but not as ridiculous as the current setup. And you keep on the expected storage progression, just skipping one.

C'mon, it should at least be 21.6 gig! :)
