My iPad 3 is on its way and I have an iPad 1 so obviously handbreak is go to for video. I'm curious how movies look on the new display, either DVDs through Hanbreak or digital copies that come with my blu rays. Or is there a better program to use for movies till Hanbreak updates?

its handbrake not handbreak.
DVDs arn't the resolution of the new ipad display and the aspect ratio is the same so just convert at max quality for best results.

if you have windows running anywhere xilisoft video converter is a good bet with CUDA intregration, really speeds up the process.

Just FYI if you rip files in HD they have audio sync issues playing back in ios 5.1. Theres a bug in the software. Called apple care. They don't know anything about it yet.
