Well that wasn't fun: first new iPad lockup while using Flipboard. Became completely unresponsive, couldn't get to homepage or anything. Ended up having to hold down Home & Power buttons for 10 seconds. Glitch? This iPad hasnt been rebooted since the day I got it.

It's bound to happen unfortunately. Different situations, different apps running, un-optimized apps, etc. can contribute to it.

Your iPad is fine, nothing to worry about. Enjoy it.

I'd hope that apps would be sufficiently sandboxed to prevent an app bringing own the whole OS. Ah, nevemind, still love it!
