How hard do you tap your iPad screen?

I've been playing several games on my new iPad and I realize theres times when I'm tapping the screen harder than I should? Does anyone find themselves tapping harder or lighter? Also would tapping hard on the screen do any damage?

It's a glass screen. There is no give to it. No matter how hard you tap with your bare finger you cannot crack or cause damage to it.

I would guess that I tap just about as hard as if I were tapping on my eyeball - if I were given to tapping on my eyeball!
