Im going to wipe my HD, and did command+r. It booted into recovery, and I went to disk utility. I went to my HD (hitachi name, 160.04 gb), and pressed erase.
Then a message popped up saying "cant unmount disk"

Help? What can I do?

I sold my Macbook and need to wipe it!

Thanks

Boot from a USB stick or a CD/DVD (ideally an OS X installation medium, as it includes Disk Utility you're probably familiar with), you'll be able to format the whole HD then.
