Odd question: Anyone using iPad 1 skins on iPad 2? Or front on back?

I love the slim form factor of my iPad 2 with smart cover, but I'm paranoid about scratching the naked back.

It looks like I can get good deals on iPad 1 films, or even iPad 2 front films...is it crazy to consider using one of those on the back of my iPad 2? I want it to be protected and look okay and be grippy but I'm not up for a $30 skin purchase.

Thanks for the link, I'm going to give that a shot. I really want to keep the form factor as close as possible to the actual device but this one you recommended seems very slender and the price is pretty damn right. :) Thanks again.
