So, i have installed lion for about 3 weeks now. before that, my mac's hardisk died because of some disk i/o error so i had to get a new hardisk, apple employee offered me an upgrade to lion, so i said yea!
my mac spec is 2.66 ghz, intel i7, 8gb ram mid 15" macbook pro 2010 model

however, when im using lion and using vmware fusion or just running videos on web browser or vlc, my mac tend to get mini freezes every 5 min to an hour, sometime if i am playing games on my vmware, i have experienced freezes that i had to restart my computer to solve cos it just stay frozen. i have tried repairing disk permission but it dosen't help. i have never experienced these freezes/lag before my new hardisk/new os version installed

if anyone know how to fix this problem or generally speed up lion
help appreciated, thanks!

click to flash in your browsers might help, try onyx too, get more memory in the mac. :)

Lion is **** unfortunately. :)

My side by side testing of 10.6.8 vs 10.7.x reveal them to be about the same.

When doing a mixed variety of work, there's no discernible difference in my case. Especially given the fact I'm comparing them on two identically configure MBP's.

While I personally prefer 10.6.8 by a wide margin, the speed difference is nil.

10.7.x has felt faster to me in general... I also reset my SMC and NVRAM (which may not help, idk) when I updated... also a lot of people claim it's too slow with 4 gigs RAM. I have 8 and it works fine. haha

MBP Early 2011 8.3, 17" 2.2 i7, 8 gigs RAM (1333 MHz)
