Sim card slot difficulties

Okay so I missed the sim card tool which came with my iPad... Very annoyed. So how can I open it. I've tried a small drawing pin but it didn't work. Too small and thin probably.

I've opened it once before back at uni with the tool and I had t put s ridiculous amount of force after multiple times to open it. Any tips please ?

Try to buy opening tool from eBay, or borrow from a friend maybe?

no need to spend money, a simple paperclip works.

Normal thin paperclip, just unbend it so it is long. It requires a bit of force, but so does the Apple tool.. same concept.

You should push almost perpendicular to the screen. It's a little tricky. Try using a large paper clip, the small ones tend to bend. It should pop out a little and you can grab it with your fingernail. BTW the Apple tool is not much better than a paper clip.
