Just wondering, if I have DiskAid, can I access the full file system as if I were jailbroken? It has the option to, but does it require a jailbreak to access all the way to the root?

You cannot access the root folder on your phone without jailbreaking. Period.

This is not true. I just used diskaid to transfer over 10,000 pics from my ipad to a new iMac hard drive. Program worked beautifully. I could easy go in a and select any files i wanted to transfer to my iMac from my iPad.

*sigh* Pictures are not stored in the root folder, but in the DCIM folder, like on any camera. That folder is not "the full file system."
