Iweather widget problem

Hi guys,

I'm having an issue with getting this to work !

I've downloaded the iweather widget via cydia.

Then gone into winterboard and selected it and re sprung.

But then nothing !

The widget does not show up on my homescreen.

I'm using the dark ho][ow theme.

I must be missing something simple on this hopefully.

The iweather widget is the only 'on my homescreen' weather I've found up to now.

Help. :)

Is it compatible with your version of ios?
 
Well I thought it was !

I'll re check.

For now I'm using the iMagine Weather widget now.
 
LibWeather installed in Cydia?

Also, when you go into iPhone's settings and scroll down to all your Cydia apps, is weathericon tweak there? If it is, select status bar and the current temp and picture of the weather will show up and no need for a temperature badge over your weather icon (when you get it to work, that is.)

I don't think this is a native weather widget? Is it?

Made in 2010 probably not iOS 5 compatible.
 
Thanks guys.

Ive given up on weather widget now and am looking for an alternative while i use the imagine weather widget.

Any suggestions ?

Please look at my last post. Go to Cydia and ensure you have downloaded LibWeather. This is a needed tweak for many weather apps.

Download WeatherIcon in Cydia.

After respring, go to iphones settings, scroll down to weathericon and make adjustments so weather shows in your status bar (and of course this will let you alter the look of any weather app icon, so the current condition is displayed in the icon along with the current temp. Does not effect the app itself, so it opens normally. I currently have The Weather Channel icon altered.) Now you will know what the weather looks like outside and the current temp, just by looking at your status bar.

Ok I will.

I've already followed your advice to download libweather.

The iweather widget seems not to be ios5 compatable which is a shame because that's the type of widget I want on my homescreen

Works perfectly fine on my iphone4 and ipad2, both on iOS 5.0.1. :confused:

Do you have something else downloaded that might be overriding it? A theme perhaps?

No I turned all my theming off to make sure that wasn't the issue.

Thanks for the heads up tho.

Im now using the basalt hd theme which comes with its own weather widget which is really slick.
